MoU signed between ISESCO and IBU

Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), and Mr. Mohammed Salem Ould Bock, the Director General of the Islamic Broadcasting Union (IBU), signed, today morning, a memorandum of understanding between ISESCO and IBU.

The MoU aims at fostering cooperation among the states of the Islamic world in radio broadcasting, invigorating the role of emerging media enterprises, and organizing meetings, workshops and training sessions for media practitioners in Member States.
It is worth mentioning that the OIC-affiliated Islamic Broadcasting Union (formerly the Organization of Islamic States Broadcasting) was established in 1975 headquartered in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
