The expansion of the fields of real estate evaluation requires the organization of the profession and controlling it by a number of actions and standards that cope with the development of property investment, Sultan bin Mejren, Director General of the Dubai Land Department said

He expressed confidence in the Organization’s ability to address this task and other requirements to support real estate investment across the organization and professionalize the practice of the various real estate professions according to the latest international accredited systems and methods.

For his part, Rifhat Al Faouri, the AADO's Director General pointed out that the sustainability of the growth of real estate investment is not guaranteed as shown by the global experiences. So the foundation bears unto its shoulders the burden of several tasks and challenges, key among them are the preparation of the human element, the development of the administrative cadres, executive staff and technicians working in the field of real estate valuation.

The Arab property valuation Organization seeks the preparation and harmonization of professional standards among Member States, the adoption of international evaluation standards, the issuance of guidelines and instructions on best practices and aspects of the evaluation, the promotion of transparency, combating fraud and all faces of the conflict of interests.
